SLLTC-Project Management

Project Director:  Ibrahim Lebbie

  1. Leadership & Coordination: Oversee the entire project’s implementation, ensuring that all activities align with the project objectives and timelines.
  2. Resource Allocation: Ensure resources (staff, finances, and equipment) are used efficiently and effectively.
  3. Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain communication with donors, partners, and external stakeholders to provide progress updates and ensure alignment with their expectations.
  4. Risk Management: Anticipate potential risks to the project and develop mitigation strategies.
  5. Monitoring & Evaluation: Regularly track progress, assess impact, and report on achievements, challenges, and financial health of the project.

Trainers (Tech & Cyber security)

  1. Curriculum Development: Design and update training materials, ensuring they are current, comprehensive, and suited to the participants’ needs.
  2. Training Facilitation: Lead training sessions, deliver content, and provide practical hands-on learning experiences.
  3. Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate participants’ progress through quizzes, assignments, and practical assessments, and offer constructive feedback.
  4. Technical Support: Troubleshoot technical issues during training sessions and assist participants with hands-on practice.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Provide suggestions for improving the training process based on participant feedback and emerging tech trends.

Administrative Support

  1. Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of all project activities, including attendance, materials, and correspondence.
  2. Event Coordination: Assist in organizing events, workshops, and training sessions by arranging logistics such as venue bookings, catering, and participant registration.
  3. Scheduling & Communication: Manage team schedules, coordinate meetings, and ensure smooth communication within the team.
  4. Data Entry & Reporting: Help with inputting and processing data, generating reports on attendance, finances, and other project metrics.
  5. Office Management: Ensure office supplies and resources are stocked, organized, and available for team members.

Outreach & Community Engagement

  1. Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with local communities and stakeholders to promote the project and encourage participation.
  2. Outreach Campaigns: Plan and execute community-based activities (info sessions, local gatherings) to raise awareness about the project.
  3. Participant Recruitment: Identify and engage individuals who could benefit from the training programs.
  4. Local Partnerships: Collaborate with local organizations, community leaders, and influencers to strengthen the project’s presence and credibility.
  5. Feedback Collection:  Gather feedback from participants and the community to understand their needs and improve the project

IT Specialist / Technician

  1. Technical Setup & Maintenance: Ensure all technical equipment (computers, projectors, etc.) is set up and maintained for training sessions.
  2. Troubleshooting: Address any technical issues that arise during training, such as problems with hardware or software.
  3. Data Management & Security: Monitor the project’s IT systems to ensure data security and privacy are upheld, especially for participant data.
  4. Platform Support: Provide support for any online training platforms, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth access for participants.
  5. Tech Support: Be available for technical assistance to both trainers and participants during sessions.

Marketing & Communications

  1. Brand Development: Create a consistent and professional brand identity for the project (logos, messaging, etc.).
  2. Social media & Online Marketing: Manage the project’s social media presence, including regular posts, updates, and engagement with followers.
  3. Content Creation: Develop and design promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, newsletters, and digital content for marketing purposes.
  4. Advertising & Promotions: Run paid advertising campaigns to raise awareness and drive engagement with the project (social media ads, print ads).
  5. Public Relations: Manage media relationships, issue press releases, and organize events or media appearances to enhance the project’s visibility.
  6. Community Outreach: Coordinate with Outreach Managers to align marketing efforts with local community needs.

Team Collaboration:
Each member should:

  • Communicate Regularly: Participate in weekly team meetings to provide updates on progress, challenges, and any support required from other team members.
  • Share Resources & Knowledge: Work collaboratively to share insights, ideas, and resources that could help improve the project or resolve challenges.
  • Problem-Solving: When faced with obstacles, team members should bring potential solutions to the table and be open to collaborating on finding the best approach.
  • Flexibility: Be willing to step in and support others, when necessary, especially in critical moments or during periods of high workload.

General Team Responsibilities:

  • Adherence to Deadlines: All team members must ensure that tasks are completed on time to maintain the overall project timeline.
  • Regular Reporting: Provide regular status updates to the Project Manager on your tasks and deliverables.
  • Adaptability: Stay flexible to changes in the project scope, activities, or external circumstances.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards in all deliverables, ensuring the accuracy and professionalism of work produced.
  • Team Spirit: Collaborate, motivate each other, and create a positive working environment.
    • KPIs will be set for each role to measure performance and success.

Conflict Resolution:

  • Address any conflicts or issues quickly through open communication.
  • Encourage a solution-oriented mindset within the team.
  • The Project Director will mediate any unresolved conflicts.
