STAKEHOLDER PROFILES FOR SIERRA LEONE TECHNOLOGY TRAINING CENTER (SLTTC) PROJECT

  1. Ministry of Technical and Higher Education (MTHE), Sierra Leone
    Role: Government oversight, accreditation, and policy alignment.
    Mandate: To provide leadership in higher education and technology-based skills development in Sierra Leone.
    Contribution: Facilitation of curriculum approvals, alignment with national skills development goals, and promotion of ICT in education.
  2. National Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NCTEVT)
    Role: Regulatory body for TVET institutions.
    Mandate: To standardize and monitor all TVET programs.
    Contribution: Ensures certification, provides training guidelines, and helps in assessing program impact.
  3. NADEUM Austria (NGO/NPO) Republic of Austria; Vienna Police Headquarters;Central Association Register: ZVR number 252118075
    Role: International donor agency.
    Mandate: Support development cooperation initiatives with focus on education and innovation.
    Contribution: Potential funder for SLTTC; provides financial resources and technical support for implementation
  4. Deutsche Gesellschaft für International Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)
    Role: Technical cooperation partner.
    Mandate: Promote sustainable development through vocational training and private sector engagement.
    Contribution: Partnership for industry-relevant training models, technology transfer, and teacher development.
  5. Orange Foundation Sierra Leone
    Role: Corporate social responsibility arm of Orange SL.
    Mandate: Improve digital inclusion and youth empowerment.
    Contribution: Provision of digital infrastructure, internet connectivity, and support for ICT labs.
  6. Inovation SL
    Role: Local innovation and entrepreneurship support organization.
    Mandate: Foster startups, entrepreneurship, and youth tech programs.
    Contribution: Technical mentoring, incubation, and facilitation of innovation ecosystems.
  7. Sierra Leone Institution of Engineers (SLIE)
    Role: Professional body.
    Mandate: Regulate and promote engineering and technical expertise.
    Contribution: Curriculum review, guest lectures, and professional certification support.
  8. Local Community-Based Organizations (CBOs)
    Role: Grassroots mobilization and support.
    Mandate: Represent community interests and facilitate local engagement.
    Contribution: Outreach to rural communities, mobilization of youth, and feedback on project effectiveness.
